3. Choosing and changing preferences
The privacy card offers equally accessible “Accept optional cookies” and “Reject optional cookies” controls. Optional technologies stay off unless you accept. Necessary preference storage remembers either decision, so rejecting optional cookies does not mean that no browser storage is written.
- Find “Cookie settings” in the footer at the bottom of any page.
- Open it to review the optional-cookie preference.
- Change the selection and save it, or use the accept or reject control.
You can withdraw permission at any time by saving a rejection. Acceptance and rejection are each recognised for six months from the latest saved choice. Changes apply to future activity on this website and do not change settings on external platforms. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Browser controls
You can also manage storage through your browser, independently of our settings control. Menu names vary between browsers and versions, but the general process is:
- Open the browser’s settings and find Privacy, Cookies or Site data.
- Search the stored website data for ukplayharbor.com.
- Remove both cookies and local storage for this domain to clear the saved preference completely.
- Reload the page and choose your preference again.
Removing only one storage type can leave the other copy behind. Clearing all website data may also remove settings for unrelated websites, so use the domain-specific option where available. Your browser’s help menu explains its controls in detail.
Private browsing windows, other devices and separate browser profiles have independent preferences. Blocking storage may make the privacy prompt reappear because the website cannot remember a choice. Core editorial content remains readable. Closing a private session will normally remove its temporary site data, according to your browser’s settings.
5. Policy updates
This policy takes effect on 16 October 2026. We review it whenever our storage changes and at least annually. Any revised version will show its effective date here and update the inventory, purposes and durations as appropriate.
Before introducing a new optional purpose, we will explain it and seek renewed consent. An earlier acceptance will not be treated as permission for a different optional purpose. You can revisit this page when reviewing your preferences.
